ABOUT ME |
| My name is Antonio Meazzini, I work in the movie industry as a visual effects artist. I'm originally from Italy, but in 2004 I left for San Francisco (California) and attended the Academy of Art University, where I obtained a BFA degree in visual effects, with an emphasis on compositing, matte painting, rotoscoping and matchmoving. However, before I attended the Academy I have worked as a freelance web designer and thus have a background in multimedia design and motion graphic as well. The Academy of Art University is one of the best vfx schools, and it has provided me with invaluable skills in both traditional and digital art, giving me the opportunity to meet many talented artists as well as famous professionals working in the industry. After graduation I worked for The Orphanage on the movie Iron Man, which was my first big project therefore very exciting! I then moved to Dreamworks Animation where I worked on Kung Fu Panda and this was one of the best experiences in my life. At present, I recently moved to London and I work for Moving Picture Company (MPC), where I have worked on Angels and Demons and G.I. Joe, Robin Hood, Narnia 3 and other projects. London is a fun place to live but all my years in San Francisco are still in my heart and I am still considering of going back to California someday. Under the "works" section of this web site, you will be able to access most of my projects, from web design to traditional art projects, and my visual effects shots. Thank you for taking the time to visit my web page. |
